Yesterday, my sweet grand daughter turned two years old. I sent her this little fellow to celebrate the day. I'm waiting on video. It's soooo hard being so far away! But I had tons of fun crocheting Mr. Hoot! I knew I wanted to make an owl, and I knew what colors I wanted, but just couldn't find the right pattern. I found a pattern for the body here, but I wanted more ruffles and foof. Did I just make up a word? It's possible. Anywaaayyyy, I improvised on the rest.
Look at that cute little owl butt!
I hope you have wonderful weekends planned! My goal is to chill out, relax and.....Oh! scratch that! Winter is supposed to be coming this next week. I'll be in the backyard picking green tomatoes, trimming back perennials, and clearing out a bunch of past its prime plant life. I'll be busy! Doing good, satisfying work. Before I start on that though, today I am spending in a pumpkin patch, taking pictures of my friend's two year old grandson. He has to stand in for my grandchild!
TTFN!
