Friday Update

I finished my Brown Creeper!  I am very happy with the way he turned out.  What I've done here is combine my love of birds with my fascination with mid-century pattern design.  The stylized "tree" the bird is climbing is a pattern I worked out, using vintage wallpaper and fabric designs as my inspiration.  The background I made by using my basket weave stamp.  He is in the shop with his bird friends.

I also finished up some garlands I've been working on.  This one is super long, 135 inches!

It's so springy and fun!  It makes me happy just to look at it:)

I wasn't happy that I broke my lamp in the process of taking these photos:(

 Both garlands are in the shop.

I'm looking forward to a nice weekend, with some warmer weather than we've seen in a long while!  Maybe there will even be sunshine!

    Your color choices are helping me think spring, Bobbi! So pretty, and your photos are FAB.

    I've got a board meeting this morning, more painting the rest of the weekend. The punch list is so long that it's draggin' on the floor. We will persist!
