Spring Afghan

Part of my living room update includes a new afghan.  This doesn't count in the $14, because I already had the yarn.

I love granny squares and granny circles.

I found this pattern for a vest, which I am translating into the afghan.

I had been working on this over the weekend, in addition to recovering those thrift store pillows.  Suddenly I started sneezing, my eyes were itching, my nose running;  I was sure I was having an allergic reaction to something.  I didn't know if it was all the fiber dust I was kicking up or if the pillows had something on them.  Well, I woke up Monday morning with a nasty cold.  I don't like being sick at all, but I am very thankful that I'm not allergic to my yarn or some part of my thrift store stash!
