After the marshmallows set up, and after I finished admiring them, I cut them into squares and arranged them on a piece of parchment paper that I had sprayed with cooking spray. Then I just really cheated and melted a bag of dark chocolate chips, mixed in some peanuts, and poured the concoction over the marshmallows.
They are so pretty! My sister-in-law really liked them too. I made them with her in mind.
As yesterday dawned bright, sunny, and oh so green out there, I remembered that I hadn't taken a photo of my lovely rocky road confection. So I grabbed the camera, some lovely linens and dishes, and set up the shoot on a tree stump that has been calling my name.
Then my coasters decided they needed to get in on the action too! They are such attention hogs. Geesh!
I love chartreuse:) Always have. It's the color of new green leaves in the spring. This color is making me really happy right now!

Oh yum!! We love mixing whatever we can find into melted chocolate and making "garbage candy." SO good! Sometimes we stick a huge marshmallow on a sucker stick, dunk it in chocolate, and roll it in goodies. Or coat it in peanut butter, then dunk it in chocolate...no, I can't imagine why this baby weight isn't dropping off yet... :)
ReplyDeleteMy "baby" will be 26 in a couple weeks and I'm still working on the baby fat. Ok, maybe it's not baby fat:)
