In the meantime, I'm playing house:) I haven't got to do that in a long long time! I've scrubbed my kitchen top to (almost) bottom, got the laundry going, cleaned the pantry, and now I'm working on my back window display. I hang garlands and pinecones and flowers and things in the window, according to the season.
Here is last February's window display. I'll change it up a little this year. Maybe.
I found this over at Design*Sponge:

Isn't it cute? And mushy?? I'm going to use this as a jumping off point and do something similar in my dining room. I don't usually go to this much effort for Valentine's but I just feel a need for some cheerful silliness to brighten up these cold, grey days! I just remembered I have some vintage Valentines someplace. I wonder if I'll have any luck in finding them.
Those are my weekend plans, in between two plays and my friend's book signing. How about you, do you decorate for Valentine's Day? Do you have something fun planned for the weekend?

I am excited to see your finished product Bobbi. And I am sure that you are too! :O)
ReplyDeleteI love your window garland!
ReplyDeleteOk. I am sending lots of warm, light thoughts in your direction...
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't decorate for Valentine's Day.
Unless you count the Valentine's candy laying around.....
