Mail Art is Fun

mail art
I've been playing with mail art again lately.  I had varying success with these packages I sent back in April.  It's fun seeing what will make it through the mail.

Here are the backs to those envelopes.  I've been recycling the envelopes that come in bills and junk mail.

Here is another.

the post office is going to start locking their doors when they see me coming!

deutschland or bust
Tee hee! We'll see if it gets there.  I had a couple other envelopes I did, but forgot to document.  I made one out of a brown paper bag, and added pockets to it.  Don't know if it arrived at its intended destination.  Canada seems to be tricky when it comes to mail of the most mundane sort.  Add in strings and pockets and it's a leap of faith when you drop that in the mail box!

packaging
When I send out packages from my Etsy shop, I like to wrap them up pretty too.  But I am very careful to be sure the outside packaging is standard, no frills, secure and shippable!

I have a painting to finish, so off I go.  Hope you are having a splendid day:)
