For days now I've been listening to this guy cawing to me from his basement box. Finally this morning I went down to see what all the ruckus was about. He tells me he doesn't see any reason that he should be confined to the autumn decor box, when, if I look outside, there are crows flying over every day. And what's more, he's lonely he says. He wants a friend - a GIRLfriend!
So Marcie the Ladie Crow came to live with us today. Isn't she so coquettish with that little knee bend she has going on?
She wanted a couple glamour shots for her portfolio.
I think this one is supposed to suggest she would be a good mother. If you've noticed she has no tail in those last couple shots, please don't mention it to her. She's rather embarrassed about all that. I think she must be quite the hussy, going out without a tail like that.
Don't tell Caw, but she's going into the shop in just a bit. I'll let him stay out of his box, even if he does have black and orange beads;)
I absolutely LOVE both of these birds!! CAW is adorable with his little scrabble necklace. And I think it's fine to be out in late July. Who's to say it's not? Give the boy some sunshine to look at before it gets all gloomy at his time of the year. :o)
ReplyDeleteBTW, I love how you write.
Those birds are adorable, Bobbi :) She's so sassy with her necklace and little poses...haha :)
ReplyDelete(Besides, summer is the best time for crows- I get a kick out of seeing the fuzzy headed "teenagers" strutting around and looking ridiculous as they battle for turf.
