I am in avoidance mode. My fingers are cramped and it hurts to knit, so I am doing everything but. I know I only have two more days to finish my art work. I'll get there. Right now, I'm taking a break.
The sun finally came back out, so I darted outside with the camera this morning. There was sun, but everything was frozen solid.
My purpose for going out there was to get a picture of this weeping cherry. Every year I miss the height of its blossoming. It never fails, as soon as it starts to bloom, the weather turns cold and rainy, so I can't get out there with the camera. I just peek out the window, watching the rain pummel the flowers. You can see how droopy they are.
The daffodils are still giving some cheer:)
If my fingers weren't so cramped, I'd consider knitting little sweaters for these shivering fellas.
This poor dead fairy, left out under a tree all winter, pretty much says it all. Poor dead zombie fairy. It's not good to piss off the fairies;)

This thank you is a bit overdue. Life here has been full and complicated. Your sweet fabric bird has brought me the joy you intended. I wanted to take photos of it hanging in various locations around the farm, but unfortunately my schedule and our weather has made that impossible for now. I will do so in the future though, and will alert you to my blog post when I do. For now, know that I was delighted to find your package wrapped in music. So appropriate, as I am married to a musician and music has always been as dear as breath. And the garland of paper flowers is cheerful hanging on my dining room lamp, casting its joy about the room day and night.
I hope you've received your own package and that we'll soon see the fantastic variety of art and learn of the journeys our packages have taken when Anne posts a summary. I'm very proud of my daughter and all she's achieving over at mygiantstrawberry. I'm happy you are one of her followers and that we've met via this amazing world of bloggery.
Be well and enjoy this sweet season of spring.

Sharon, thank you so much for the sweet comment. I am very happy that you liked your bird, and I'm also looking forward to Anne's post:)
