Ahh Monday! Revisiting projects that got set aside....
Contemplating new projects....
I succumbed to this charm pack while in Iowa. I want to make my granddaughter a small quilt. I am not a quilter, so I need a simple, but cute, project. Any ideas or suggestions? I don't want to have to do a bunch of intricate piecing; that's the part I'm not good at. I need something that doesn't require a lot of precision:)
Here are some fun things I found while shopping with my Mom. The gravy boat matches my cups. And these alligators match (almost) the ones on Mom's counter top! The boat has joined the cups, and the alligators have joined my salt and pepper shaker collection.
I'll be looking forward to those quilt ideas;) I'll see you Wednesday!
Can't wait to see your quilt- that is something I have never tried!! Too fussy :) Maybe a nice solid background, and you could use the pretty pieces to make appliques? With some wonder-under and a tight zigzag stitch, they're pretty fun :) Especially if you know how to draw!
