This sure is taking me a long time to finish these birds. It's mainly the drying time in between the other steps. I drew some poinsettias on, making them a little bit festive.
Then I painted some white poinsettias, a little larger, over the others.
Supposedly this was another step. They sort of look like the other photo don't they? There is a little bit more watercolor pencil on top of the paint.
I have discovered a bunch of paint that needs to be used up, and some that has already dried up. Wasting really upsets me, so I am making it my mission to use up a bunch of art supplies this month!

ReplyDeleteThe colours are my favourite colours so I was always going to love these, but I really like watching them come together and slowly develop.... they will be stunning by the end xx
