I have spent the entire day photographing new listings for my shop, processing the photos, and listing them. I haven't gotten a single other thing done. I haven't even picked up a crochet hook! I take that back; I talked to my daughter and granddaughter on web cam. That was good, and a needed break:)
I've been busy, crocheting up a storm.
I've moved to brooches. I find that when I go to the yarn store, there are so many many amazing colors, some of which I can't wear - like green or yellow. But I can wear a green or yellow brooch and get away with it! So I am making lots of brooches, some for me and some for the store. And I'm using the pattern books Pam gave me:)
I'm making more garlands of course, because the world can't have too many garlands!
I finished the bracelet! There is more too; pop on over to my shop to see what else I've listed:)
As I come to the end of this week and look ahead to the next very busy week, I realize that I need to take a little time off from blogging. I don't like to, but I'm behind on so many things and really need to do some catch up. I hope you all have a wonderful week; enjoy these wonderful, end of summer August days and I'll see you back here on the 15th!
Mmmm...that first brooch is especially yummy :) (Have you seen Everafter? "My, Marguerite. That brooch is....stunning." Hee.) Enjoy the last days of summer! It feels crazy to say that, since Summer just arrived last week up here....
ReplyDeleteBobbi--hi there. This is my first visit to your blog and I'm so impressed by your talent! Love the brooches you just posted.
ReplyDeleteI feel ya on how time consuming it is to update your online shop!! Been there, done that (today!)
My goodness you have been busy!
ReplyDeleteMust be all that cool, non-humid mountain air..........
I am just so thrilled that you are finding so much in those vintage pattern books of my Mom's! You can't imagine how close I came to not bringing them along to Spencer....thought, oh, Bobbi will just think that is so lame.....
Made my Mom smile, too, to know that someone was making use of her old books!
