Crocheting on a Friday

I've been just giddy with excitement over trying out some new patterns in my vintage crochet books that Pam gave me.

dressing up the garden
I took a flower motif from a placemat and used it instead to make a new garland.  It's about time I put something new in my shop!  I used another pattern from a doily to make the leaves.  I thought I'd go outside and take some photos in the garden.  It's HOT out there today!

Here's a closer look:)  I put beads on it too.

crochet bracelet wip
There was another placemat pattern that I took this motif from.  I'm making a cuff bracelet.  I just need to figure out the clasp options.

crochet garland WIP
These are coming down the pike.  More garlands.  They should be in the shop by Monday.

Do you have a fabulous weekend planned?  Are you getting in some last minute family trips before back-to-school?  I'm going on a field trip to the Great Salt Lake, one of my very favorite places to be, with my Lake Bonneville Crochet Reef group.

Have a great weekend!
