Monday Check In

Fan Pull

I juthst got back from the denthist and my entire fathe and mouth ith numb, stho if I sthlur that'sth why.  Oh my goodness, I think this is going to have to be a "be kind to myself" day, and not too demanding.  The rain is pouring down again, so I think it's a perfect day to just snuggle up next to the cat and crochet.  I have a special order I'm just finishing up.  It's for some fan pulls like the one above.

Other news, my baby boy, my youngest child is twenty-five today!  How do the years fly by so fast?  There is a rumor he might come out and visit me in June.  I do hope that happens.  My brothers confirmed that they will be coming out next month, so I'm very excited about that too.  I have so much I want to do before they get here!  I have to get my patio done so we can spend our evenings out there, talking until the wee hours.  The truth is, they make it to the wee hours way better than I do!  I do like to give it a try though.  It makes me think about when I was a little kid, and we would be visiting my grandparents.  Us kids would get sent to bed early, but I would lie in bed listening to the adults.  The rumble and cadence of their conversation was so soothing.  It would go along as a soft murmor, then a burst of laughter!  Of course I was so curious to know what they were talking about, but it lulled me to sleep anyway:)

I'm off to crochet, and to try to drink water without it running down my chin.  I'll hold a towel up.

Have a great day!

  4. Happy Birthday to the Baby Boy!

    Another trip to the dentist???

    That stinks.

And I think you should put your brothers to work fixing up the patio and then all of you sit down until the wee hours.

Sounds like a plan to me!
