When I first moved to Colorado years ago, I was mesmerized by the blues and purples of the mountains and the western sky at dusk. That move brought a lot of changes for me. For one, I had moved from a very boring landscape to one that was filled with color and texture, and rushing water. All of those visual impressions are permanently sealed in my memory with the major changes that took place in my life that year. The colors in this garland are bringing back those same feelings for me.

I have to tell you what a wonderful time we had seeing David Sedaris live the other night! He was funny as usual. This guy makes me laugh until I can't breath. I really like that in a person:)
After the show, he was signing books. There was a line a mile long, but he spent probably five minutes with each and every person. I watched him and listened to how he would find something about every person to ask them about and draw them into conversation. I was really impressed by how kind and friendly he is!
This is only the second time I've ever sought out an autograph. The other time was the subdudes, a favorite band. What about you? Do you have anyone's autograph? Do you have any stories about meeting celebraties?

So gorgeous! Love the greens and blues. I don't have any famous person stories, but my dad once bought Willy Nelson a sandwich- he thought he was homeless. Heh.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great story, Myrnie!!
