These are a few of my favorite guys....

The photo prompt this week over at life through the lens is to choose our favorite photo that we took during 2010.  My photography skills have certainly improved over the last year.  I credit these photo prompts for part of that, because they've challenged me to really think about how I'm composing the photo.

Still, as I chose my favorite, I wasn't necessarily choosing the most well executed photo; I was choosing my favorite!  There are a few that I took last year that I just felt quite satisfied with because technically there were good photos, others that I was just really drawn to the colors or the subject matter.

DH wanted me to use this photo:

And I did consider it, because I just love that brilliant red against the blue sky.

But then I remembered my all time favorite photo of the year.  I cannot look at this one without cracking up:

I may very well get shot for doing this!  These are three of my most favoritest guys in the whole wide world, hamming it up for the camera:)  My two brothers, and DH on the right.  You should see me; I have a huge smile on my face just looking at these characters!  I really need to have this one printed and hang it on the wall.  Whenever I'm in a bad mood, all I have to do is look at this picture and I'll be happy again:)  I love these guys!!  So yes, this one is my favorite of the year.
