Maybe not exactly in the studio.... More accurately on the couch! This is my art project today, giving DH a dragon on his cast. I've been painting while he's working on the computer. I need to paint the other side, but need to turn him on his belly to do that, and that makes it hard for him to work!
Working in the round like this is a new experience. I can't see the whole thing at once, so I just hope for continuity. The nostrils on this thing are bedeviling me.
Also, knowing that this will be cut up in three weeks makes me wonder how much time and effort to put into it. But all art is ephemeral in one way or another.
Hope you are having a wonderful start to your week. I have naked peaches sitting in the kitchen waiting to be canned, a stack of library books to go back, a car that needs an oil change, groceries to be bought, pen pal letters to write, and a bank run to make. I'm at that kind of overwhelmed stage where I just want to shut down completely and not do anything. I think I'll start by putting on a clean shirt. One step at a time, just like the guy in the cast up there:)
THAT is awesome :)
ReplyDeletedeep breaths, bobbi!

ReplyDeleteAwesome indeed! Maybe not worth breaking my leg for, but if I do I know who I will be calling!
