Letter Writing Station
Sorry that I didn't show up to the page yesterday. I took on extra cleaning lady duty this week, and was completely immersed in scrubbing very dirty things yesterday. Do you think people tend to be messier if they think someone else will be cleaning up after them? I'm convinced it's true.
I needed a little home perk treat this morning. I've been writing more letters lately, so decided to make things extra easy by putting together a little letter writing station. Everything I need (as long as I'm not getting crazy!) is right here: the letters I need to respond to, some stationery, stamps, ink and pens. Wanting another little touch of pretty, I filled the pink bowl with old stamps. I've been collecting since childhood, and I hate just keeping them in a box in the closet. I love to look through the old stamps from all over the world.
I'm off to clean another house today; I hope someone does mine while I'm gone! Before I run off, I want to share some fun news; I signed up to participate in sfgirlbybay's "pin it forward" project. This is going to be a lot of fun and I'm really enthused to be a part of it. I'm part of group 2 on June 9th; it looks like there are still some sign-up spots open, so pop on over and see if you want to play too!
I'll be back tomorrow with my Friday's Herbal post. I might be kind of cheating on this one, but I found something really cool that I want to share. See you then:)
There are two kinds of people: Why bother cleaning up, if I'm paying someone else to do it tomorrow? And then, "Oh no, the cleaning lady is coming- I have to clean up before she gets here so she doesn't think I'm a slob!" Heh. (I cleaned in a house with two small children, when I was in college- after the petrified messes I scraped off the floor, I swore I'd NEVER feed my kids oatmeal :)
