I was so foggy headed yesterday. I tried to paint, but this is as far as I got. I had to stop before things started to become mud. I worked a bit more on the ibis, and the others are grounds for more Great Salt Lake bird paintings. I have some ideas for how I want to treat the grounds. I'll talk more about that as I work through it.
On Tuesday when I was more focused, I redid my mantelscape. It was time; there were still bunnies and eggs there. I like to change it up fairly frequently, because it gives the room such a lift. I am not a furniture re-arranger. I put the furniture in one place when I move in and it stays there.
My living room, dining room, kitchen walls are brown, all brown, different shades of brown.
I want to paint them green. Wouldn't this be a good color? Soon, very soon. As soon as it's warm enough to leave doors and windows open for long periods of time.
Hi Bobbi!
ReplyDeleteCool how you changed that colour! (How did you do that?)
The only thing I would worry about with that green is how well it works with those wonderful fireplace tiles. From those two photos it looks like it would clash.
Love your paintings that you are working on!
Oooh, Bobbi-I love these colors, and I love green (any shade--my favorite color) I think it green will go with anything.
ReplyDeleteLove that green (but you know that I love green- my living room looks like the pickle mobile :)
ReplyDeleteI rearranged your beautiful flowers yesterday, drove my daughter NUTS because I won't let her play with them- only mommy gets to :)
