I'm having Mad Tea Parties on the mind! We saw Alice in Wonderland at the IMAX last night. It was so good, perfectly perfectly demented! I don't understand all the bad reviews it's been getting. It may not have followed the original storyline, but come on now! this is Tim Burton we're talking about! And Johnny Depp was wonderful as the Mad Hatter.
I have been wanting to have a Mad Tea Party of my own. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so we can hold it outside on the patio, with fancy cakes and cupcakes. I think I will even serve odd potions in little bottles;) And all the guests must wear hats!
P.S. check out more dreaming of spring ideas over at scoutie girl!
Cool. Does this mean I get crumpets?
ReplyDeleteNo boys allowed!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, harshing on the boys! I seem to remember that ALL of the original tea party-ers were men... :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea :) Can't wait to see photos! (Can't wait to see the movie, either :)
Awesome a mad Purple tea party... and no Boys.. how cool is that, coz they never help clean up anyway...
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing Alice in wonderland, Johnny Depp plays some very quirky characters, he so suits the quirky and eccentric genre...
Alice would be proud! :-)
