And that Sundance update...

vegetarian
On Friday afternoon we joined in the Park City, UT crush of Sundance Film Festival movie-goers.  We saw the beautifully sensuous film, Vegetarian.  It was the story of a woman's journey to freedom, her transformation.  The sort of top level story is that she had some dreams that made her decide to give up meat.  She couldn't even stand to be around her husband, because she could smell meat on him.  All of her family were trying to force her to eat the meat.    You can read more about it here.

The story was full of metaphor and layers upon layers of deeper meaning.  And it was visually stunning.  So so beautiful.   It was truly a work of art.  When it comes out in wide release, which I am hoping it does, be sure to see it.
Lim Woo-seong
This is the director, Lim Woo-seong.  This was his first film.  I think this guy is going to go far.  I even got his autograph.  I don't do that.  But he was as good looking as his film, so really, what choice did I have? (wink;)
