It's a Good Art Day

The stars must be aligned for art today.  I checked my email this morning and there was one from Ballet West telling me I had been chosen to participate in the Shoe-In 2010 project.  So I went over this afternoon and picked up the shoes.

While I was downtown, I stopped by Art Access to pick up my paintings, and discovered that this one had sold!  Hooray hooray!  This was actually my favorite one of the group.  I'm glad it's giving someone else joy now.  The validation of having sold a piece of artwork is giving me joy.  And so is the check.  I think I'll sleep with it tonight.

    Those shoes will need more than a G string, it appears.
