I finally finished!

I submitted my sketch today for the Ballet West Shoe-In 2010.  If I am chosen to participate, they will give me a pair of pointe shoes which I will then transform into a pair of hummingbirds hovering over a big red blossom.  And I really do want them to hover, not dangle.  Does anybody know any anti-gravity tricks?  They will be done in my typical mixed media fashion, bright colors, lots of paint and paper and some ribbons.  I envision the feathers and wings made of paper, and painted with some Lumiere paint.  The blossom I think I'll do with fabric and use Stiffy for strengthening.

Now it's off to bake some xmas cookies!  I'll share my rum ball recipe soon.  Oh yum!
