Not much has happened here today on the creativity front.  I sketched out this owl real quick while waiting for a friend to arrive.  It's a small 4"x4" or 5"x5" I think.  I'm going to finish it with acrylics, fill in behind the owl with paisley pattern.  I want to do this in more muted, lighter tones than I usually use.  I have to be so careful, because usually when I try to do that I use too much white in my paint and it comes out looking chalky and dull.

I'll be back tomorrow with more snowman pics.  And hopefully more of this owl!
