Well, I finally got there. You can see the entire set of ten on my Flickr page. Just click the moose up there, and he'll take you right over. I'm so relieved to have accomplished this project and I'm ready to move on to the next one. My next project is going to be cleaning up the mess I've made! And I can't wait to start working on holiday gifts.
As I finished up today, I was mindful of it being Veterans Day. I don't believe in war or violence, yet I honor and give thanks to all of those women and men who have served and are serving our country so the rest of us can be safe here in our studios painting or sitting snug on the couch with our laptops, playing on the internet. We have so much freedom, and relative safety. Those folks at Ft. Hood last week thought they were safe on American soil. There are crazies everywhere; they come in every shape, size, and ethnic or religious background. My heart goes out to all those who have lost loved ones in Iraq, in Afghanistan, or in Texas.

Very nice. I especially love your tree.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Bobbi!
ReplyDeleteWish I could be there with you during your show.
